Tradition

Family tradition is what motivated Aaron and Laura Cunningham, owners of SkyView Farms, to return to North Iowa after college to farm. We learned to love agriculture at an early age having both grown up on family farms. Laura raised her first calf at age five and Aaron can remember racing to the tractor the minute he stepped off the school bus as a young boy. 

College led Laura to Iowa State University to major in Agricultural Business with a focus on Entrepreneurship, Agronomy and Animal Science. Aaron attended North Iowa Area Community College majoring in Ag Operations and Management.

Today, we’re proud to be caretakers of a herd of black Angus cattle and farm row crop acres of corn, rye and alfalfa to provide food for our herd. Our backgrounds and individual strengths make us a great team and we enjoy the opportunity to work land and raise cattle together. Cattle farmers were some of the first to integrate regenerative agriculture into their practices. We’re proud to be making progress each year to protect and improve the land we utilize to care for our cows and raise high quality beef.
